The Central Contra Costa Sanitary District offers a metered recycled water hydrant truck filling program. Water must be used for construction activities or other non-potable water uses. Call CCCSD at 925-957-7632 to sign up for a meter and for more information.
Requirements to Work at District Facilities
Contractors will need to complete the computer-based training course at the Occupational Safety Councils of America (OSCA) (PDF) facility in Martinez. Contractors will be responsible for the training fee (currently $25 per person).

This 50-minute course has been designed to include a basic overview of the tools and knowledge needed to work safely at the Contra Costa Water District. This interactive e-learning module provides an introduction to General Facility Rules; Personal Protective Equipment; Safe Work Practices; Permits; Hazard Communication; Fall Protection; Confined Space; Emergency Response; Accident Procedures; Health and Environmental compliance. This course is not intended to replace any OSHA mandated training.

CCWD also requires that all contractors working at CCWD facilities have read and signed our Contractor's Safe Practices Handbook (PDF). In addition, the handbook must be given to all contractors' employees.
